Brief Paperwork
When you come to our office, you will need to fill out a brief paperwork. This paperwork gives us the required information about you and your problem. You may also find the paperwork under the “Schedule Appointment” tab.
Consultation
After completing the brief paperwork, you will see the doctor and discuss your health-related condition, concerns, problems and potential treatment options.
History and Examination
There will be a questionnaire related to your condition which will help the doctor determine what your actual problem is. Afterwards, the doctor will perform a number of specialized tests to determine which area is affected and to what extent.
X-ray Studies
Your condition may require an x-ray examination to either help us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you or rule out more serious problem. You can get the same day appointments at the imaging center we use. However, if you have recently had an x-ray or MRI examination, you can also bring them along for us to assist you better.
Same Day Treatment
After the examination and all appropriate tests are done, the doctor will provide you the first treatment during the same visit. This usually includes soft tissue therapies, physical therapies and/or spinal therapies.
Home Instructions
The doctor will give instructions on certain procedures or activities that can be performed at home before you leave. This includes heat or ice application instructions, stretches and/or stretches and avoidance of certain activities.
Schedule Your Next Appointment
During this same visit, the doctor will schedule a convenient follow-up appointment. Often, the next appointment is scheduled within 1 – 2 days and you will be given with a complete review of findings. All the treatment options suitable for you will also be discussed during this visit.
